About us
Opened in July 2015, Langue Appart’ was founded by two passionate and devoted teachers who wanted to create a “home sweet home” for every new francophone in Paris.
Langue Appart’ is located in Oberkampf, the center of Paris, between Bastille and Republique in a lively neighborhood full of cafés, restaurants, art galleries and concert halls.

The team
Mélanie
Mélanie has a master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language. She has 15 years of experience teaching French. She began her teaching career in Senegal, Russia, and has continued teaching in France. Mélanie implement a « tough love ». She is accurate and attentive, and she knows the difficulties students face with the French language.
Michael
Philémon wears many hats. In the mornings, he welcomes students and manages the registration in the office. In the afternoons and on Monday and Wednesday evenings he teaches French courses, a profession he has practiced since 2011.

Marion P.
Marion has been teaching French since 2019. She joined the Langue Appart’ team in 2021. She is a bit of a « Foodie », so don’t hesitate to ask her for recommendations on restaurants and natural wines!
